February lovin #1

February is always busy for us.  There are 2 birthdays and Valentines day all in a 2 day celebration.  Next week is that week so it will be crazy fun.  But I am not here to tell you about next week I am here to tell you about last week.  Well Sunday was Super Bowl and the kids and I watched the game together and rooted for Green Bay!   What a fun time.  Snacks and family fun.  Then Monday just the normal school day.  Then home to clean and hang out as a family.  Tuesday more school and family fun.  The rest of the week went by with out anything exciting happening.  Thursday our tax return came in and I went on a shopping spree for some clothes for little Lydia.  She is in size 12 months and we have very few of those.  Also got a shirt each for the boys and a toy.  Nothing too exciting.  Today, a little more shopping, and moving Mom's stuff into her new place.  So you see nothing too exciting.  but I like to update.  I have committed to it.  LOL.  Well here are some pics from the week and until next time.  Live Laugh Love

Changes happening.

Well I started making Lydia a quilt.  Right now I am just stumped on in what order to put the awesome patches I made.  I think I will get it figured out tomorrow...  On top of that.  Mom got herself a nice 2 bedroom 2 bath CONDO...Ya no more studio for her.  She will be taking the twin bed for now and the big TV stand that is sitting in Lydia's room right now.  Then I can put another stand in Miss Lydia's room and get her room all ready to be painted and have new decor.  I will be starting the decor prep this next weekend and then the following weekend is when we will paint.  I know I am crazy to be doing all this and School...but you know what I NEED it...I feel like they need nice rooms that are decorated just for them.  I am going to get toy boxes, hopefully 2 new dressers and awesome stuff for the wall in each room.  The bunk beds are FANTASTIC and will be kept in the same place.  I will for sure take pics before, during and after the process.  I am so excited.
After the kid's rooms are all done I will move to paint the rest of the house.  I am getting a big bucket of paint because the whole house is the same color. (the red room will stay red).  It will be AWESOME!  Might take a week or 2 but it will all get done.  Feels like I need to do stuff. besides schoolwork.  SO the process begins. Pics and maybe a tutorial for the quilt to come when it is finished.  Happy times for our family!

Love month

It is February already!  can you believe it?  I am amazed at how fast this year is already going.  Things are busy around here.  With school, kids and everyday life there is never a dull moment.
This month we will be getting things done.  On top of school work and everything I am planning a painting and decor change in the kid's rooms.  It is going to be FANTASTIC!  I am going to make Lydia's room so girlie it is not ever funny.  I think she will finally get some AWESOME pink sheets for her crib and I think the crib may be painted pink.  I will also either take the twin bed out or get pink sheets and blankets to make it a super nice addition to her room.  The boys will get posters and awesome Boy items on the wall.  I will for sure take pictures and post them.  I am going to try and update very often but our lives are not too exciting.

I have lost a few pounds in my weight loss journey.  and my pants are starting to be too big.  Jaymes is getting nice muscles from work and the kids are all growing like little weeds.  Just the average month in the life of us.

Can't wait to see what the rest of the month as planned for us.  As of now I am going to be taking a picture of a heart a day along with my Project 365.  and I will be focusing on school work more.   Our schedule is getting into place even better now so things are getting done.  Enjoy your week everyone and I will be back for a post on Sunday!
I will leave you with a few pictures.

January

This month has been crazy.  Lots of stuff happening.  We built a fence for the dog in the backyard, and are deciding to paint the kid's rooms.  I think it will happen after tax money gets here.
School is crazy for Michelle, and just started for Jaymes. It is taking a little time to get a schedule going but I think it is finally working out.
This past week we have all been sick.  As of today Kyle is much better, so is Lydia, but Adam is so sick all he wants to do is lay on the couch so not like him.  Jaymes is feeling the sickness.  I am feeling it too but the days must go on.  I have to go to class do homework and take care of the kids.  No sick days for moms.
Well that is about all for now.  Next month will be fun and interesting...hope everyone has a great rest of the month.  I will post some pictures very soon

Changes they be a Happening.

WOW...WOW... That is all I have to say right now.  December went by super fast and I could not believe that 2010 was already over.  My kids loved all their Christmas gifts and Enjoyed the family time that we got to have.  we kicked off 2011by staying home and enjoying the Vegas fireworks from out living room.  The house was WAY warmer than it was outside, also not as far and not as crowded.  The kids all stayed up except Lydia.

Two days later it snowed and we took the kids to play in the snow.  It was so fun to see them in snow.  We even built a tiny snowman.

The Spring semester has begun.  It started on the 10th and I am totally busy with it already.  The kids are fine with me being away.  They understand that Mommy is going to school and they wave everytime I leave.  I am not sure if it is for me or my new car.  Which they call BumbleBee.  I will just pretend it is for me.
I go to class 40 miles away 4 days a week.  I know I am crazy...but you do what you gotta do.

Jaymes is loving his job and has an opportunity to advance in the near future.  School starts for him on the 24th and he is looking forward to the new experiences he is going to have.

OMG I totally forgot to tell you WE GOT A DOG!  I know crazy right.  She is a Hound dog.  8 months old.  it is crazy at my house.

Ok now.  Lydia is cutting teeth and is very cranky about it.  She wants everyone to knwo she is in pain and not liking it.
Adam is getting so smart and can identify the letters in the alphabet and numbers.  It is scary how good he is getting at stuff.
Kyle is turning into a little man. He is talking a lot more and loving every minute he gets to spend with Daddy.  He loves movies and MONSTER TRUCKS!

Well that is everything for now I guess.  Things are going and the changes that are coming are that Michelle is losing weight. Adam will start school in August and Kyle may begin preschool in September.  Lydia will be walking soon and that will make keeping tabs on her that much harder.

Thanks to everyone for reading and have a great day.

November 2010

WOW!  December already!  I can't believe it.  I would like to update you all on what happened in November.

November 10th - Jayks’ Birthday party- What a fun time with family. Cake, presents and laughter. What more can you ask for?

November 13th – Festival of Trees- A fun time for the kids. Kicking off the holiday season. There were a lot of vendors that the children were interested in. Along with many trees that were decorated nicely and Adam voted for his favorite one. Called Fairy Tales. They got to ring bells along with Jingle Bells and enjoyed every minute of it. What a fun day.

November 14th – Aviation Nation at Nellis Air Force Base- What a fun time for the family. We all arrived at different times but ended up meeting at the front gate. We watched all the flying demonstrations and the reenactments. Jaymes’s favorite was the F-22 and the A-10. Michelle’s was the Thunderbirds. The kids loved the planes but were every tired by the end of the day. We left our houses around 7 am and got home around 6pm. All tired but had a blast. We will go back again next year.

November 22nd – Thanksgiving dinner with the Dalton family- We had a great early Thanksgiving dinner at Shannon and DJ’s. There was great food and great company. There were 11 of us there and enough food to feed an Army. Good thing we were all hungry. We also celebrated Ian’s birthday there because we were all there and he was with us.

November 23rd – Ian’s Birthday- As said before we celebrated Ian’s birthday on the 22nd but he turned 6 today. I made him cupcakes to take to school with him and he was so happy about that. We had a cake and a few gifts for him that he was happy about also. It was great to get o spend time with him for his Birthday.

November 25th – Thanksgiving dinner at our house- WOW. What yummy food and great company. We had the traditional dinner here at our house. I made a turkey, and homemade pumpkin, and apple pie. The turkey was very moist and the house smelt of fresh baked rolls and bread. We were missing Glady and Daniel but it was a nice time anyway. Thanksgiving is always great when you are with family and friends.

December is always a busy month for us with Birthdays, Christmas, and family fun there is never a dull moment. Until next time, Live Laugh Love.

Getting Behind

Well, I have not been updating this page as often as I would like.  But I am going to try to update it more often.  So since my last post in August a few things have happened.  So I will go by month and let you know what has been going on in the Dalton Life!

End of August 2010
Michelle and Jaymes both started school and things have been crazy ever since.  Also my mom moved back so she could be my babysitter while I am in class, because day care for 3 kids is very expensive.  Kyle is turning into such a big boy and great big brother.  Adam has been to the dentist and we planned a surgery day for him to have his teeth taken care of.

September 2010
Adam had surgery on his teeth on the 1st and had his front 2 teeth pulled due to an infection that was headed to his adult teeth.  Then he was going to start school.  But on the first day he didn't want me to leave him there.  Then the second day I stayed awhile and then left and he got in trouble for throwing a crayon.  So he was no longer able to attend the preschool.  I started teaching him at home on Mon, Wed, and Fri.  It is hard to do but I try my best to teach him the things that he needs to learn to get ready for Kindergarten.  In September Kyle began to talk a lot better.  We can actually understand the things he is saying.  Miss Lydia learned to roll over and we can't keep her in the same spot.  She loves to move.

October 2010
Wow, October already.  Well this month was Adam's birthday(24th) and we had a party on the 17th.  My brother and his family came down and we went to Vegas for a day of fun.  I continued going to school every tuesday and Thursday.  It is fun but starting to get annoying I guess I just need a little more motivation.  Halloween was fun, we trunk or treated on the 30th.  and then went trick or treating on the 31st.  Adam was Optimus Prime. Kyle was Bumblebee and Miss Lydia was Little Miss Muffet.  I was the spider that scared her away..lol...not much else has happened...but we all got the flu on the 24th. It sucked but we are all better now and enjoying our days.  Oh and Jayme started a new job, at a golf course.  The thing he loves to do...School is going good for both of us and we are preparing for next semester.

That is about it for now.  I will be updateding this page more often now.  I am finally getting on a schedule that I can function with.  Just took some time to figure it all out.  With 3 kids things take a little longer.  Have a great day everyone and thanks for reading.
